I first met Russ Cook during the Euros the year before, when I worked with him on his mission to run to every England game. A year later, he rang me out of the blue, this time with a bigger idea. He was heading to New Zealand to run the entire length of the country and wanted me on board.
So I joined the crew. Together, we travelled from Cape Reinga to Bluff, filming, producing, and documenting the journey as Russ ran across some of the most dramatic landscapes on earth. We lived out of vans, chased daylight, and built a ten-part YouTube series that’s now reached over 2 million views.
